Trade: My new White 09 M8 snopro hood for your NEW black M-hood

Just picked up a new 09 M8 snopro, not super hot on the white hood/bumper deal. Figured I'd throw this out there and see if anyone had any interest?

I am getting my black one repainted. The local body shop painter is going to do it on the side. It will cost me $100 plus $30 in paint. I would think it would be cheaper to just paint yours than to ship it somewhere.

The paint never seams to hold up very well no matter how good of a job it was. The slightest tree branch makes big scratches.

How does Polaris make their paint hold up so well? The red hoods are painted. Something about certain dies cause the plastic to weaken so they use paint instead.

arent cat hoods painted? My hood is gloss black on the outside and not on the inside?

i have never had good luck with paint on snowmobile hoods either. branches and things always seem to take it off. plus im looking just for a second hood so i can keep the original in good shape

Mine came painted from the factory. A big chunk came off when I pulled the sticker off. I am going to give this a try. I am also going to wrap it with a graphic. Hopefully it works.
