Tracker Beacon problem

When I turn my Tracker beacon on it is now showing an "E." Does that mean error, anyone know what it is doing?

This is the link to the online owners manual, but no mention there of the error code "E". Might want to give BCA a shout. Good luck. EW

Mine flashes E when I turn it on for a second than works normally. Not sure what it means, but the beacon works just fine in both transmit and receive so I never worried about it. It still displays the battery life, right?

Either send it in for repair or get a new one.

You and your riding buddies trust their lives to those; I wouldn't trust one that's malfunctioning.

Thanks for the link Eric, and I was hoping this was the case CanadianInAk (and I don't think mine indicates battery life) and Mule I agree....that is why I am trying to fix the problem now. I will have to get another beacon and do some testing....if not working properly I will send it in.

When you turn them on they flash all the lights, then battery percentage (I would change them if its below 50), then "tr" whick looks a bit like "Er" tr means it's in transmit and is working. If you hold the search button down it will flash SE. If yours is doing different things I would give them a call.

50? Hell, i change mine when it gets down to 75.
