Track pitch ?

I'm putting a CE 2.5 on my pro should I stick to the 2.86" pitch or go to 3" pitch ? Going to be running avid extroverts either way.
I have the 3" pitch on my tnytro and like that track.

If I go 3" pitch do I have to run smaller diameter drivers?

I'm sure someone else will chime in but it's my understanding that the latest and greatest CE 2.5 only comes in the 3.0 pitch.

I went with the 3.0 pitch CE 2.5 track using 7T Avids. It killed two birds with one mod, got a better track and geared the sled down from stock (2.09 I think) to 2.27.

My track options are
9105M 163"x15"x2.5" 2,86 pitch
9103M 163"x16"x2.5" 2.86 pitch (cut down to 15" wide)
9175M 162"x15"x2.5" 3.0" pitch

Also can i run a 162" track with 163" rails?

I have a C3 belt drive and I'm already geared down.

Hands down... go with the 9175M... and 7 tooth 3" pitch drivers.

Evolved track design compared to the others... and you pick up a bit more clearance.

mountainhorse does the 9175m have paddles across the full width of the track or are they only 13" wide?
Also if I am geared 2.12 how much will 7 tooth drivers gear me down to?
Will it be geared to low like this ?

7 tooth 3" pitch will underdrive you by .92... so 2.12:1 would be a Realized 2.30:1

Yes... 9175M... full width paddles.

I'm also considering the 9175M for my 2015 163 PRO, mountainhorse will the 162 track fit with the stock 163 suspension and would the drivers in the attachment be the correct ones to purchase 7 tooth and 3" pitch, thanks

Sledheadd yes the 9175. Will fit on the stock 163" rails.just did on on mine a few weeks back.
