the slot in the back of the rail that the rear idler axle slides back and forth in to adjust track tension. You'll need to at least be able to go another 1" towards the back of the sled from where it is adjusted on your 144.

the distance from the rear of where #4 in this picture is now to the end of the loop in the rail is where you'll need at least 1 more inch of room than you have now.

I really, really appreciate the info and the time - I thought about it after and figured out what you were talking about but the pic confirms what I was looking for. I will check and see when I get the chance - if I have the room I think I will go with the 146" and the new drivers and wheel kit - sounds like the easiest route.
