Track info ?

The center drive drivers might be a few ounces lighter.

Center drive: You don't have to cut the rails. The weak point is that when the track starts to slip you only have one anti-ratchet point to catch the track. This point is pushing on the raw edge of the center hole in the track. This causes damage on some people's track.

Clip drive: You have to cut the rails. Since there are a set of anti-ratchet points in each row of track clip holes, the forces of any slippage is divided by two. Also, the two anti-ratchet rows are pushing on steel track clips. The drivers will wear out before the track.

I've sold a lot of both types. It depends on how you ride.

Robbie have you ridden any of the newer 3.5" pitch tracks? Do you have any concern on only having 6 teeth on your drivers and running boost?

I haven't ridden this track. You are correct. A track doesn't wrap around a set of drivers 180 degrees. About 120-150 degrees depending on your approach angle. A 7 tooth driver will use 3-4 teeth at a time and the 6 tooth will use 2-3. I have made the anti-ratchet points longer on the 3.5" pitch as compared to the 3" pitch.

You might have to tighten the track a little more with the 3.5" pitch.

What's you guys thought on the clips for this track, it's clipped every second window, but the clip is under the lug. Not like the axys tracks where under the lug has no clip ?

IMO it will work great. I am sure they left it every other for weight and IMO you want the lug clipped but that's me.

Anyone know what the Polaris 2.6" weighed as comparison as well?
I consider that this to be a more important comparison. I'll bet that you can go with a .2" longer paddle and still have a lighter track with the Conquer 280.

I see a conquer 300 in the near future (3"). With the reviews on the PC 3" and this being basically a lighter spin on the PC track, I can't help but think it will be offered in a 3" next year.

Exactly my thoughts. The lighter the track the better in my book.
