Track extension question

If I extend a 153 M to a 162 can I just remove the or cut down the flap in stead of doing a tunnel extension.

I guess you could if you want to but your cooler will still be to far in to be able to catch enough snow to cool the sled I would think...

I just bought an 09 162 and the tunnel can't be any longer than an 08 153 They just angled the rigid snow flap back to collect the snow up on the cooler.
I think you would be fine, I would try to attach some thing to the snow flap to hold it out of the skid without making it shorter.
