Thanks GuidoEx, I'll get ahold of Jeff

Looks like the stator is fried too, wire all rings out fine, measure on the stator itself.......fooked! Good thing I have a buddy that is a wrecker

Here is a pic of the crossmember, If anyone wants to see what a cracked one looks like

I have a stock one I could get sent to you for a $40 and shipping if you want

I had a billit x-member put in, so i have an extra part...LOL

no idea how fast it could get shipped though, im outta the country so i'd hafta see if my mechanic buddy would do it.....LOL

Thanks bud, I do have access to a stock one as well, just thought with the snow the way it is this year, waiting for a billet one would be no big deal.

I do appreciate the offer.

I know that the cases have to split to change crank seals. My question is this, can the case be split a 1/4" - 1/2" without complete disassembly and the new seals slid onto the crank without screwing up the orientation of the water/oil pump shaft?

Just looking for a quick way

When I replaced my PTO seal, I just split the case, took the top off and replaced the seal. I also changed the mag seal since I was in there. No problems with alignment that I'm aware of.

The only problem that I would see with doing it that way would be trying to get the cases re-sealed.
