torsional clutch kits.

torsional clutch kits

Yes the torsional clutch kits really helps out the M7 driven clutch, search old threads on this subject. It improves the entire shift up and down. I used the speedwerks silver spring when i had my M7 with stock helix, and rock rollers,
you will see an improvement for sure. Besure to install new screws in helix when you do the upgrade. Hope this helps you out.

When I installed one on my M7 I picked up 5mph track speed and had more consistant performance in all conditions. Way better in the deep powder!:D

If you are looking to tune in some clutching to motor mods (pipes, porting, bigbore) I'd go with the Cutler's kit. I like the Cutler's because it's easier and cheaper to tune in out on the hill.:beer; If you are stock and going to stay stock, I'd go with the RKT kit. It seems to be a more "set it and forget it" type of kit.:)

Both kits work!:D

like you said there are lots of mixed reviews on this. some say its night and day difference and some say they're not worth the money. the first year i got my m7 i ran the first version from RKT that used the stock helix and just had the adapters to run the torsianol spring. i tried a couple springs with it and it worked ok but with that particular kit the rpms were always bouncing around. i have since gone back to a compression spring setup and am happier with it, overall performance is about the same but the rpms seem to hold alot more consistant.

That being said i have never tried any of the other kits or the newer RKT version that comes with the helix so i wont comment on them. this is just what i saw with the particular kit and setup i was running.

I did my own torsional conversion at -07. I've run it ever since and not going back to compression setup. I did not seee huge gains in mph etc, but it's working way more fluent in the trees. When you hit WOT, release it and again hit WOT secondary always upshifts and backshifts as it should.

I'm not doing big climbs so I can't tell how it works there.

I am thinking of buying a rk tech spring kit for my crossfire 1000 just looking for more feedback some say its not that good and some people love it,What to do?
