Torque stop

The stock torque stop is by the primary clutch. When i read about the SLP torque stop, ans see it on SLP web site it obviously doesn't go where the stock one is. (stock is just thread into support bar).

The SLP torque stop has a bracket, where does it go ?

Correct, it goes on the Mag side and uses 1 of the front cross-member bolts to attach and pushes against the lower half of the recoil housing.

Think you guys are mistaking it with the push arm? The push arm is black metal and goes on the mag front side. The torque arm is silver and goes on the back pto side on bottom corner of engine. There will be 2 mounting bolt holes there for the electric start motor and that is where it goes. Cannot use it with the electric start motor on.

You are correct ... SLP does call it a "Push Arm" for some reason... though it is basically identical in design and function to a standard torque stop.
