Top ten ways to buy sled stuff w/o your wife finding out;)

You Guys are "bad" my husband just tells me!!!! it’s for his sled who cares, it’s his money he works hard for it, if it make it go faster and climbs higher than the better for him. Just tell her!!! :D:beer;:D

Oh, if only more wives thought like you! In my wife's world what is hers is hers and what mine is her's. Any dollar I spend is a dollar she didn't get to spend.

Had a customer that got bonus checks every now and then he would have them made out to our shop and we would put it in his account. "honey I have a recall on my sled and need to have it done." One year we put twin pipes on it and she said "the recall sure made your sled louder. " he replied "yeah it was a safety recall the sled was to quiet, this way people can hear me coming." LOL good times, good times.

been there! D-I-v-o-r-c-e not all are gooders! I spend what I want now, and the GF rides along cuz she has "her stuff" too, and she pays for it. Keeping it seperate makes it easy

I've never met you but somehow I know I LOVE YOU! :rose::face-icon-small-hap
But in all reality it is pretty much impossible to keep anything from a "Wife". They just somehow fricken know.....dam it! :confused::beer;

just tell her all the stuff all the time and after awhile she can't even hear me talking sledding;)

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who tries to hide snowmobile purchases. I've been involved in some pretty tense explaining sessions. She's already warned me for this season, little does she know that there isn't a single thing that I need.

If you are married and lying you have trouble coming. There is nothing that will kill a relationship faster than a lack of trust. My guess is if you have a competition of who gets to spend what on what, you have trust and communication troubles and some one feels cheated. I would resolve that first before you buy sled parts. After the divorce there is not much money for sleds.

Easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.
The 35 k Yami turbo was a tough one to explain :(
That was a quiet week !! :p

1. use biz checking account and biz credit card for all purchases. Also have paypal tied to the biz credit card. I also try to beat her home to move the UPS box out of view before she gets home or have the kids stash it in the garage somewhere out of sight.

I only get into trouble when:

1. the wife sees a new sled on the insurance statement and I havent said anything.
2. the wife sees the new engine on the workbench or the new pipes or skiis hanging on the wall in the garage.
3. she notices the new hood is red and just last month it was black

One time we have company over for dinner and the phone rings and the guy asks to speadk to me but first introduces himself to my wife as the guy who just sold his boat to her husband..........great dinner party.

Guess I'm lucky. I don't tell her, but she wouldn't care either way. Me telling her about sled stuff is like her telling me about her day. It all sounds like the teacher from the peanuts......WaaWaa WaWaWa yes mam, no mam. Yeah, Yeah, great story, now take off your shirt!!!!:D:D

Just have it all shipped to the office and once it's in the garage.......Oh that, I've had that for a long time.

Just buy the new sled cash but keep your old cover then when she sees it in the garage she will think its the old sled and never think anything of it
