Not a democrat. Wish we could cut the Federal government by at least 50%. Not even a fan of Obama, but if you think for one moment that Mitt is looking out for the interests of the middle class you will be drinking cool-aid as that is the only drink you will be able to afford.

The place where most of the US population once resided. A dyeing breed for sure and if Mitt gets in you will find 1% rich and 99% poor.
Maybe they need to eat more bacon?
As to how the poor make people rich. I would suggest a look back at slavery and even further to serfdom for some possible examples.

I never said you were a dem, just drinking from their fountain. I don't think that either of them is close to ideal, but these are the 2 legitimate choices. Only one of them has any business experience, the other knows how to spend other's money, give it away, and borrow even more.

Also, to clarify I am not a democrat or a liberal. I just do not like what Mitt stands for. He definitely does not have the middle classes best interests at heart. I also think he would start another war given the chance.

YA RIGHT, the kind of answer i half assed expected. but i'm serious. my feeling is that most of us riding sleds and on here are NOT the middle class. but we will be expected to take the burden of paying for everybody else as the top 5% already does. the dyeing breed WILL be the 1% that employs the 99% if he is continued to be punished for being successful.

Do you really believe that most who ride sleds and post here are in the top 5% and are not hard working middle class folks? Or, as I suspect, are you experiencing illusions of grandeur? (A lot of employers are small business and certainly are not in the 1%. As a matter of fact, all of the small business owners I know would be offended by you lumping them in with your beloved 1%.

No actually, I would say the housing bubble should be blamed on both Clinton and Bush. Bush and the republicans deregulated a lot of stuff, and the democrats tried to make it easier for everyone to have a house, thus giving riskier people more credit than they should have been allowed.
Not sure what either of those 2 people have done for housing or gas

I'm willing to bet that there are a fair amount on here that would fall into the 5%, quite a few at 10%, and a bunch that are in the upper 15%.
