all joking aside - i got a slighly used OVS rear coupler for sale ($200) dont worry its totally hacked up so it will fit, and ill toss in fresh gallon of monstor truck grade loc tite so the bolts dont rattle out (again)..........so mean, but so true

There were alot of great sled's at the tony's gathering this weekend. There were 3 1200 turbo's OVS, Kevin at K-Mod and Doug Gearman from California to bad that Kevin's 1200 broke the limiter straps and Doug's driven clutch broke it would have been a hell of a race to see who was the fastest sled there. They were the 3 fastest sled's there. The Nytro that Shane from Logan had would have been fourth and Kirk's 800 and Stanger's 1200 would have been a tie for fifth and sixth.

I was the only one there not drinking beer all day so my eyes where much clearer, and after Shane switched clutches I thought you two swapped races.
Then we headed out,
but being its all key board racing tonight I think I was the fastest.LOL

Actually you all can can see 5 videos of the races at the West Coast Sledders link below. Three videos are of Travis against Shane's sled. I don't have any video of Travis making any changes to his sled just racing and drinking beer.......

I dont think there was one sled that was fastest overall consistantly but the most impressive I thought was Captn Kirks 800 turbo hangin with 1200 turbos. I might have drank the most beer though if thats a contest.

Im with doug on setting something up west coast finals style!!!! Sonora shootout for sure. Theres a few more 1200 turbo's and some apex's that wanna play out here!!!!

yea matty, there wasnt as many big hp as fairview but it was a good time. We can talk about a Cali shootout later, we need to figure out a date. Im leaning to 2 weeks after FV, gonna be cutting it close on snow.

travis sled did have a little more top end than mine but there were races I won also but dont post them it would make every one pissed I do know that my sled was the only one to go out a chute that day and race all day.doug you never beat me once even with travis clutch on.
Trav did you get the m8 propane out ok? it didnt sound good when it stoped.

Just curious, but what is everyone running for tracks?? I know Shain runs a 174" x 2.5" (right?), what about the other sleds??

Shain thanks for asking before you left if we were ok. I changed the plugs and the M-8 fired up and out we came. I was hoping to have a cold one at the parking lot but you guy's had left. Your sled ran well I watched it win some races but not against the OVS 12 she was rippin saturday it's not many race days that you never lose a race. Kevins suspension in your sled was awsome. Just got my suspension today. O and thanks to Dustin that was riding the sled for keeping the old girl pinned down even as rough as the suspension was set-up.

This is some funny sh$t i havent been on snowest in a year nothings changed. First off i showed up around 12:30 with my little girl to come and play. I raced my nytro a few times but it was just not working like it did at fairview, got my a$$ kicked a few times. Travis had me ride his 1200 so i raced it alot. Shanes 1200 was fast but, I do now Travis's OVS 1200 had way more on top end. I was way in front of Shane's Twisted 1200 everytime we raced. I know shane and I raced alot we hit the hill more than anyone and thats what it is all about race all day and go home. I'm just glad we can all race and be friends at the end of the day. I know Shane from logan with the nytro raced all day too and that sled pulled hard on top end. Capt kirk has one tough 800 to beat and Kevin from kmod is one fun guy to race he always has his A game. The 800 propane burner was fun to ride. Glad we all got together to have a great day for a shootout that i hope gets bigger and bigger. TRAVIS you need a suspension I was out of control. Just for the record and everyone nows its a shoot out its bring what you brought. Excuses are like a$$holes everyone has em but if you get your a$$ kicked walk over and shake the kickers hand [/B] Thanks everyone for a great day sorry for my daughter hitting you with snowballs she just like her dad shes an instagater. lol

Trav there were 2 races I beat you withkevis clutch yes you beat me 4 times all in all they were within a lenght or 2 at the top may be I need to be at 18#s next time make it even now that youll have a great skid youll like it but they do need a little tunning for every diffrent rider but once you find where you like it hang on. that skid Has taken me places I shouldnt have been able to go.

Where was the finish? Unless you were willing to fly off the cornes to the other side, the finish was anybodys guess. Some let off before others. So yeah, we looked ot the starts and in between. But what do I know, I had the fastest Stock 7 there!!! Unless you put a start stop light, it will be hard to say who was the fastest. All were pretty fast and most won some and lost some. So it was mainly for the love of speed and the game all showed up. So all be real. No real winners that I saw.
