Tony Grove Snow Report?

Tony grove is very sketchy till there's at least 5 feet of snow. There are some big boulders up there. If you go be careful.

Was up there 5 weeks ago, sketchy at best, clipped several rocks... Latest yesterday storm shows 1" new and 30" base. It had been up to 35" weeks ago...

Be Careful!

Road up to the Lake over Christmas break and hit a hidden rock. Took out my right a-arms and broke 3 ribs. Told not to sled until Jan 20th. Based on reports - we might not have snow before then anyway. Snow was flat - had no warning before I hit the handlebars.

Tg

I agree with m. I would stay out of tg for awhile unless you are familiar with the area. There are allot of stones up there and they are big. There are a few hills without rocks but if you haven't spent some time up there in the summer to scope it out I'd stay away.

Heck I've spent a lot of time up there in the summer and it makes me not want to even touch that place with this level of snow!

Talked to a couple of guys that rode the Sinks last weekend, they said the fence posts are covered and that they were able to play off trail without hitting stuff. That isn't Tony Grove obviously, but it was nice to hear that there was at least some snow up that way.

TG didn't receive any measurable snow out of that last snow storm. It appears it was very hit and miss...
