heading out the 9th is there good riding (boondocking, climbing, meadows) out of crooked creek ranch or do we need to be somewhere else? been to cooke, and snowies many times but our first time out here any info is helpful thanks

were heading out on the 8th and the riding i hear is great right now! where you staying @ and where are you guys coming from? were heading up from the chicago area when you get there you will have plenty of options head towards tog!

lots of POW!

ok, it looks likt Togwotee has been getting pounded on the past week or so. How does that affect the avy danger? Does it make it better or worse? I'm assuming more snow = more weight = higher danger. Just curious. We will be out there the 22-26th. I can't wait. I hope the snow keeps coming and the avys settle down!

The general avalanche hazard is HIGH. Up to a foot of new snow, strong winds and warming temperatures have created easily triggered soft slabs to two feet in depth on steep, lee slopes. Deeper, hard slabs continue to be triggered in the Angle Mountain area. The new snow will increase the chance of natural or rider triggered deep slides. TRAVEL IN AVALANCHE TERRAIN IS NOT RECOMMENDED. At lower elevations forecasted warm temperatures and rain will increase the chances of slides from roofs or steep areas like road cuts.
