i have an 08 dragon 700 with a 174 it has to much ski lift gets hard to control in tight areas and i loose alot of momentum my limiters are as tight as they go unless i drill new holes in the straps themselves i would like to try to make my stock skid work i dont really have the money for a new skid at the moment any sugestions?

drop the front track shock down into the lay down position, just did it on mine the other day

I've never heard of too much ski lift. I would love to have that problem!:beer;:beer;

either your messing with us or something is wrong, i dont know how a 700 could wheelie much without a lot of boost.

either way, another set of holes in the limiters may work, but maxed out should be more than enough, tighten rear springs up and drop front shocks down, should help a LOT.

haha highlife thats the first thing i think of when i hear "too much ski lift". Makes them easy to turn out if you can stay on it! Stand er on the bumper, pivot er around!!

You never heard of too much ski lift .... the older Rev's would flat out climb over backwards on you if you kept it pinned !

I only rode a couple revs, 144s and 151s. Didn't really notice much ski lift. My 900 RMK had way more ski lift but it hit a tree and died. RIP!!

Well you must have a turbo 700 to even spin a 174. The Polaris race guys used to move the rear scissor back like 5/8". Just drill a new hole back 5/8 and reinstall. I did this on my 900 cause it liked to wheelie a little and it haelped a bunch. There is a stopper on the scissor that needs to be cut off and relocated further around the clock to allow the suspension to move back 5/8 further. Just weld it back on so it doesn't camber over the wrong way.
cheap and easy fix.

If ski lift is so bad why are so many people putting turbos on their sleds.
Those things are out of control but it's more fun that way!!

T/A I think its too easy for just anyone to own a hotrod sled these days with all the cool injected turbo stuff out. Any dingdong with a fat wallet can buy 250+ HP. rocket. They may not have a clue how it works or what it should ride like. They are fun as shat to squirrel around on though.:D

I don't own a hotrod sled. I have a 07 M1000 with an SLP setup and some moflow side panel vents and timbersled intake. I'm just saying I would rather ride a sled that keeps the skis off the ground. Rode an 04 King Kat last winter that was out of control, on the trail it kind of sucked but in deep powder or climbig it was a f%@$kin blast!! I don't have to ride more than a couple miles of trail so its not that big of a deal .

Why go straight up in the air when you could go straight up the hill?
