My local dealer and the only one in the state of maine told me he cant order just 2 kits because the minimum is 5! Really? Is that the way to promote snowbikes in a state that has so many snowmobilers that just need to see and learn how much fun this sport can be? Aren't 2 orders better than none?

As good a chance as the rest of us who dont have a dealer worth a damm in their city and choose to call Timbersled or Allen directly to order stuff from them. I never have had any issues with going right to the source. Never ordered bike parts though

Timbersled has their phone number right on their website, you might get more help there...

I couldn't agree more.

A public forum is not the place for discussing or disclosing this type of thing.
Any new or existing Timbersled dealer falls under the same requirements. You, as a customer have lots of options to help your local dealer meet the minimums.

I should clarify- Timbersled sells Mountain Horse kits dealer direct; unless you live in the immediate local vicinity to Timbersled, where we are the Sandpoint dealer. We do not compete for Mountain Horse sales with our dealers.
You can order parts and accessories through our site or by calling us directly; although we prefer our customers to first give their local dealer the chance to earn their business. Local dealer=local support; and all warranty claims must go through a dealer.
In any case, we will always do our best to resolve concerns and answer all questions in a timely manner.

If you know of, or have a better OEM or used motorcycle dealer in your area; steer them my way and we will take a hard look at each one.

If my dealer cant argue with timbersled, what chance do I have?

Maineiac, I sent you a PM this morning. ALthough our dealership is not in your backyard we are not far away, and I ride Maine a lot . Lots of my customers do not live close by (inlcuding Rbott and motodan to name a few) but find value in my dealership because we ride, stock lots of product, and are knowledgeable about what we sell. I am a rider and enthusiast, not just a guy that sells sleds and snowbikes. Feel free to give me a call if I can help you out at all
