Broke my throttle cable and replaced it with a new one, my question is since the cable controls the throttle and oil pump (I think) on my first run with the new cable I was hardly using any oil (maybe 1/4 tank or less of oil to full tank of fuel) so I took it back apart and noticed that the cable was engaging the throttle before engaging the pump so I adjusted the cable to pull both throttle and pump at the exact same time. Now I'm going through 1/2 tank of oil or more to a full tank of fuel. I was not running hot on the first run, nor fouling plugs on the 2nd, is there a perfect setting? Should it pull each lever at the exact same time?
Thanks in advance for any insight...
