Throttle Body out of Sync?

2014pro is all over the map in the upper ranges, especially when running in deeper snow. At apprx. 3/4 throttle and above the sled will act like its running to rich, peddle the throttle to try to gain RPM back sometimes works other times not. The variation can be from 6800-8150 at different times.

I was told the throttle Body being out of sync can make a sled run like this, and was wondering if anyone had experienced this problem, and if so are there
specs that the throttle body should be set at?

:help:

Personally, I like to look at simple things first.....

Have you used playback mode to look at rpm swings?

The fact that it dropped to 6800 rpm makes me think an exhaust valve is closing (bad bellow?), or sticking

--or--

It is over revving.... Does it only do it when you snap the throttle open? What happens if you ease into it?

Primary Spring in one piece?

shoulda mentioned been through all the obvious easy fixes a hack like me can think of....clutches, exhaust valves, ect...

although talked to the fellas at Kurts Polaris today, and one of the mechanics told me the 14s had a bad batch of fuel filters. Said they chased the same goblins im after now, and finally figured out they were starving for fuel at times. Expensive, but im gonna try that next.

Michelle at Oregon trail sports sells SPI filter/hose assembly for half the price of a stock Polaris one. I have no experience with them so I can't give you a performance report.
