Three arrested in WI for killing deer

why does the media have to throw in the make of the sled?? What relevance is it? Just like when someone gets shot, the media has to give a detailed description of the firearm.........the bummer is, deer were ran the hell over by some d bags on sleds.........does it really matter what sled it was??

Ya that's true

Grate news the found them

You just wait, about 1-2 years after they get out of jail one of them will murder someone and be back in the news. People who torture animals like they did are statistically way more likely to end up murderers.

I wonder if you could find out who the judge will be and then a couple thousand (or more) of us send letters or emails expressing our outrage and wishing for the maximum penalty to be envoked. To often guys like this get half of the max then only serve half of that. Some heads should roll on this one.

Well Rock, I'm not sure about the Judge as of yet, but here's the link to the Waupaca Co. D/A's Office And a link of the Jags themselves. Real class acts...They gag them with the oil from the sleds they used. Friggin' pukes. http://public3.co.waupaca.wi.us/Departments/DistrictAttorney/tabid/409/Default.aspx

Occasionally deer strikes do happen around here on the more wide open streches of old railroad grade. It's not uncommon for riders to be traveling at speeds approaching tripple digits(no daytime speed limit) on these smooth-strait shots of trail. I've heard of a few guys who have had deer step out onto the trail when they've been hit. It seems that one of these guys is claiming he hit one on the trail and the other two went after the rest. Regardless, it's a black mark on snowmobiling, and they need justice in the heaviest of manners. No reason not to man up and file a report if you hit a deer by accident. These three just don't add up to much.

this is true! an early indication of a psychopathic behavior is animal cruelty, its a fact.

what a couple of losers. I hope that's 3.5 years for each deer.

all i can say is wow!!!! that is bad, and just plain wrong. Throw the book at them.

Hmm, love how their addresses are on that article.

I wonder how many death threats they'll receive.

# Robby Kuenzi, 23, E5548 North Shore Road, Weyauwega;
# Rory Kuenzi, 24, 410 Harlon Street, Weyauwega;
# Nicholas Hermes, 22, 215 W. Alfred Street, Weyauwega.

3.5 years + $10k fine... That's not bad.

Couldn't this all be solved simply, with two or three bullets to their heads? If I were them, I wouldn't go home, after making bail. Something tells me, a guys house could catch fire. With him in it.

Glad to see the snowmobile community take a firm stance.

Nice work Howler. I'll see if that info will be available. If I find anything out, I'll post it. Maybe some of the WI Snowesters that live near the area could help out if they hear anything. These turds will probably plea bargain out and never see a jury. I hope not. Thanks

Thanks flying V and Howler. Great too they they were caught.

Off topic but yet on the subject, has anyone heard word on the fellow cowards whom killed the geese/ducks in WI as well.

Theres not even words for how twisted this is really. I dont know what part bothers me more. I mean how screwed up is the justice system? Rumor has it these guys could get 3 years for this. Just recently, hit and run killing a man up here, the waste of skin gets house arrest. The other guy that was just charged with running that truck off the road/turning around and hitting the guy is looking to get 18 months to 4 years.... Human beings...someones husband/wife/dad/mom/brother/sister! I mean this is sick and obviosly these mouth breathers are loopy, its all just f$#$ed!

From the article on the arrest that Rock post..

"Rory Kuenzi, who also is the focus of an ongoing investigation into a 2004 hit-and-run crash that killed 20-year-old pedestrian"

Lock him up and let prison justice take care of this Stellar human being. Hope word gets out to what kind of great citizen he/they are. Three years may be short but once people know how hard core they are, let them get cored.Time to man up for them..

Thanks Wade, I missed the Update on the other cowards..

Actually, you are correct. It is a known fact that animal cruelty is a sign of being a Psychopath.

http://www.psychological.com/blog/i...-Animal-Cruelty-Psychopathic-Personality.html

Animal Cruelty & Psychopathic Personality
Human Behavior
Animal abusers are five times more likely to commit violent crimes against people and four times more likely to commit property crimes than are people who have never committed such abuse.

Violent criminals often have childhood and adolescent histories of serious and repeated animal cruelty. This has been known by the FBI since the 1970s when its analysis of the lives of serial killers suggested that most had killed or tortured animals as children. Research has shown a clear and consistent patterns of animal cruelty among perpetrators of more common forms of violence, including child abuse, spouse abuse, and elder abuse.

Abusing an animal is a means to find power through the torture of a victim incapable of self-defense. The same holds true for rape and child abuse.

History is replete with case examples:

1. Patrick Sherrill killed 14 had stolen local pets to allow his own dog to mutilate them.

2. Earl Kenneth Shriner raped and mutilated a child was known for putting firecrackers in dogs and hanging cats.

3. Brenda Spencer killed two children and injuring nine had set afire the tails of cats and dogs.

4. Albert DeSalvo (Boston Strangler) had trapped dogs and cats and shot them with arrows.

5. Carroll Edward Cole who had committed 35 murders began childhood by strangling a puppy.

6. Serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer had impaled dogs and cats on sticks.

7. Columbine ol students Harris and Klebold bragged about mutilating animals.

It appears to be "inconvenient" for some to take this telltale symptom and prediction of future violence for the seriousness it insures.

Update on both DEER and DUCK cases.
It turns out that the first arrainment had taken place with the least criminal of the three. I've heard that he's facing a possibility of 10yrs for this. As for the other pukes, not too sure yet, but the pressure around here is DEFINATELY showing. The news media is eating up the comments from the mid-west snowmobile sites about giving the stiffest penalties.

As for the duck case, it may not be as black and white as first thougth out. Yes there were two sleds that crossed water and hit ducks. However, Here is the strange thing. The DNR is holding any comments at this time. The ducks were in the dark, and in open water from a WASTE WATER DISCHARGE plant. There was a bunch of geese killed by snowmobilers crossing water in IL a few years back. Those were only a few, and there was blood everywhere. In the duck case, there was hardly any blood or feather refuge, and most were in pristine condition.

Signs are pointing to the ducks actually dying(for the most part) from poisoning, or possile sickness by the water discharge. Yes, some were hit, but 57 in one pass by 2 sleds? They'd almost have to be standing on each others backs. I don't condone it, but something just doesn't add up yet. Will let ya know.
