Thinking of a nytro with a powderlite stage 1

I'm thinking of switching over from my snowcheck Dragon 800 155 to the nytro, all my buddies ride yammi turbo's. Just wondering how they are boondocking, I know they can climb. And how reliable is the turbo, I just want to put in gas and drive.

mc epress is your most gas and drive turbo out there no d!cken around. The nytro with the mc epress 240 hp reliabley will far out do even a stock two stroke never mined a turboed two stroke Bonondocking is the most fun you can have on any sled. The draw backs on the nytro is the track, skid, and skis. Have to change them out for a challeger exteme 162/2.5 and a timbersled skid or some thing as good, and simmons skis. After that great sled you will be happy:D I am

The powderlights stage 1 is a gas and go kit as well. Customer service is awesome. Plus if you want more power down the road the kit is easily upgradeable.
the Nytro handles ok in the tree's, but it's heavier then the Dragon, so don't expect it to handle like one.

alpine turbo on a nitro gas and go and if you want more later get better gas and turn up the boost. i agree the track skid and skis need changing. which skid depends on what you do i like to climb and the M-10 keeps the skis on the hill

You cant go wrong with the mcx, alpine, or the powder lites they all have reliable gas and go kits I personally am running a powder lites this year and the customer service is awesome and the kit is really user friendly. These sleds with a turbo you will need to change the ski's and rear suspension I am going with the EZ-RIDE and Simmons. good luck

The MCX and Powderlites systems seem quite similar in design. Where do they differ? Has anyone compared their performance side by side? Is their throttle response close to that of the Alpine system? Are the Alpine headers holding up? One more question. What is the difference between a Powderlites Stage 1 and Stage 2?

powerlites turbo and intercooler are alot bigger then mcx so in turn you can get more power out of the powerlites kit then the mcx Powerlites stage one is about 250- 260 hp the stage 2 is about 280-290hp stage 2 runs a fuel reguater and a exterenal fuel pump to meet the gas needs of higher boost. The powerlites kit has no lag that i can tell never drove a mcx but i have heard that it has alittle bit more lag then the powerlites kit. Oh one more big + about the powerlites kit is the computer they run the rb3 it is one of the best!

How does the Powderlites turbo oil return system work? MCX uses the crank driven suction pump and vented turbo sump tank just like the old 3 and 3.3 litre Porsche 930s.

PowderLites Stage 2 turbo kit

PowderLites we use a small pump to pull oil back from turbo.
No cutting or hacking up your sled only one hole for charge tube beside where exhaust goes through.
We use ball bearing turbo with water-cooled center section and turbo and Intecooler is good for 350HP so no need to ever upgrade major parts.
Kit comes complete with no hiden costs for boost controler, boost gauge or Aem wideband. Only need clutching and we have clucth kits or list of parts to get you going.

alpines new headers have been proven to hold up as for throttle responce a rear mount will never have the same as a front mount i have heard they have tuned sleds to be close but i have not seen one yet. the alpine kit also comes with bigger tank and light weight seat. the gages are sold seperatly we sell and use liquid filled gages not cheap but worth the price.

Has anyone put a muffler on an Alpine kit?

Headers are awsome, now that Alpine is making them in house. This kit flat out rocks for both the Apex and the Nytro.

I don't think there are any bad turbo systems out there, they wouldn't stay in business. I like my MCX, they have done their homework. The sled is well balanced (I like the idea of the turbo more to the rear) and has an awesome fuel management system that you don't have to even setup(although you can fine tune it if you want). Personally, I would have no qualms running an Alpine or Powderlites either. My MCX rips and has no lag, the turbo is only 27" from the motor. I haven't measured the Powderlites or the Alpine, although I'm thinking the Powderlites is around the same. I also like the idea of a cooler charge due to the snow cooled precooler tube which has to improve the intercooling. Have ran my sled from 12lbs to 17lbs and yes, just like the others, the 17lb setup is now a stage 2 (meaning extra $) Now, if they were just a little easier to install, LOL
