Thinking about buying a new Yamaha VMAX for the summer

Yup, thats right.
Yamaha STILL makes the VMAX.
This one is just designed for the Pavement and not the snow!

Its been 19 years or so since I owned my last motorcycle, which just happened to be a red VMAX.

Now I am thinking its time to get a new ride and of course I want a Yamaha and I am seriously considering a new VMAX..

This winter just kinda SUCKED.

Snow is GONE.
What is left is already turning to MASHED POTATOES in the mountains.

Oh I agree, its an ODD looking bike.
Not another one like it on the market.
The OEM exhaust is nothing short of HIDEOUS!

But what a RIDE.

There is truly NOTHING else on two wheels like a VMAX.

Was over at Rexburg Motor Sports today looking at bikes.
Low an behold someone trades in a 2010 Red VMAX.

So Many bikes to choose from....

the v-max has always been one of the baddest looking bikes. the Raider is pretty cool and powerful too.

The Vmax is a bad *** bike and takes a real rider to take that bitch full tilt.

I'm partial to Ducati however they need to make them bigger. There only built for little turds.

Yup they r fun... Me and my brother ride the new ones... Nothing funner than drifting sideways around the clover leafs... We used to burn the centre of the tires off first... But now we can't keep the sides on them... Lol.. We average about 500-1000 km a tire... U do the Guru ECU and full titanium exhaust and holy fug it's just a riot.

I like the look of the VMax, it's a unique bike that's for sure. Having a small car engine in a bike that puts out 200hp is pretty flippin sweet if you ask me! I fell in love with the Warrior though, just wish it had 200hp!

Nothing at all wrong with it.
But the cruiser just doesn't do anything for me yet.

So, here is THE REST of the story.

Went back to the dealership on Saturday to follow up on the bike.
I had made an offer of $13,000 on it Friday, and the salesman was supposed to call me back in a hour or so and confirm it.

Had never heard back from him.

Go into the shop Saturday to get a part for my sled and find out the Sales Manager had BOUGHT THE BIKE out from under me!

He said he had bought the bike the moment it had arrived as a trade-in and it should have never been shown or offered to me.

I let him and the General Manager know I was NOT IMPRESSED at all.

But, and this is still why I like Rexburg Motor Sports, the General Manager told me he would get me another identical 2010 Red VMAX for the same price if I wanted it, and offered a real apology for the mixup.

Really can't ask for much more than that.

Nothing at all wrong with it.
But the cruiser just doesn't do anything for me yet.

I've rode with a lot of bikes & I have to admit the Victory bikes out of the box are super impressive!! My 06 Street Glide BB would just barely pull the stock Victory Vegas.
