I'm sorry to rain on your parade. But in a high stress situation you will never see that lazer. Alot of people tend to over think what they will be able to do when confronted with a deadly force situation. speaking from experience, you do what you train. if you don't train, you don't do. there are three things that you will incentively do fight,freeze,flight. at a younger age I did all three (I'll admit it)
After two weeks on the new job, confronting a large man fleeing from a residence that an assult had taken place, at 2:30 in the morning. I learned what my instinct was. (I won). We would all like to be fight ready, the problem is all of us don't have time to get the mind set. as far as the rest of your post, good info!
