Thinking about boosting my sled....

i'm running an '09 Assault, is there a stand-out turbo for this particular sled? been offered an aerocharger , at what i feel is a decent price, but willing to spend the scooties to get the goods for something that'll be reasonably dependable. any insight from past experience would be appreciated.

I'm running a Silber kit on my '09 Dragon 155, and I love the kit!! Silber has great customer service and his kits are solid and priced right!!!

Justin @ Code Red performance is a great guy to deal with PM him with any questions. He has the boondocker kits, his name is SnowJW on here.

It hard to decribe!

Have you ever rode a boosted dragon? Have you ever rode one running 12 pounds of boost? If you have, you know what I am talking about. Its hard to describe but its a whole other class of its own. It makes you think, "Why did I ever waste time with heads, pipes, cans, and even big bores." Boosted sleds are insane. You realize how much power they have when your buddy on his (non-boosted) ETEC/M8/Pro can only go up the hill 1/4 of the way and you realize that he has turned around where he did, not because something was wrong, but that is as far as his sled will go and you just passed his mark still going 30mph! (Unless it was a boosted Pro!) If you do boost your sled, just be safe, because it will truly take you some places you don't want to be! Call Justin at Code Red, and get a boondockers kit. Get the kit with the intercooler, and electronic boost control, you won't be sorry you did! I just put mine on and this is the first season running it. Any questions let me know and I will give you some tips that I learned if you do get it!

...i'm seeing a trend towards the "... i can't believe i didn't do this in the first place..." theme. appreciate the feedback guys!!

i run silbers kit its easy to install and it only takes a few min to adjust the attitude box im really happy with his kit as well as his customer support a++++++++ keep up the good work silber

The Silber kit is awsome, it is a very easy install and Justin is great to work with. Once you go boosted you will never go back!!!!!

tried a lot of garrett based turbo kit and it is a no match to an aerocharger(66)kit for me....aerocharger take you to full boost so much faster( i'm running at 10-14lbs)!!!i'm not talking about lag here but quick spooling. most of the turbo kit out there are well built but all of them are using those fuel boxes and that is where it going to the bad side! fuel boxes are **** but for now it is the only commercialized solution......but it is about to change realy soon......:)) wait until august of this year since a lot of new stuff will be released(e.f.i. solutions).

i am running a hm turbo setup with low comp. head and water to air intercooler.

This is the same kit I run on my dragon as well. I think its the easiest to setup and cleanest kit out for these sleds. Aero is a great turbo. The water to air is the only way to go too.
