what do you mean by a gas motor "wears out" at 120,000? I see gas pickups all the time with more miles than that. I agree, stuff wears out in 120,000 miles, but the same stuff does on a diesel too. I have a cummins with a 150,000 miles on it, motor is still perfect, but 4wd needs some work, front end just had some work done, etc.

What happens when the gas motor wears out at 120,000 150,000 miles and needs to be replaced is the $6000 worth it then. This may only be true if you are using the truck to tow all the time.

uhh with good maintenance your gas engine should last a lot longer than 150k..

in the family i have a 6.0l chev with 354k and a 5.4 triton with 547k,


take care of em and the new engines will run a loooonnnnnggg time
