Just got a call from my buddy. Someone smashed and grabbed alot of stuff today. Sirius radio, laptop, wallets, and a couple other things business type stuff that I can't remember. Watch out guys.

crappy! price creek is kind of the secluded one too on that stretch.. cle elum tweekers!

Man that sucks!!!

One thing I don't understand though is why leave ANYTHING of value, much less your WALLET in the truck? Yes,I know you should not have to empty your truck to ride but unfortunately the way things are these days you just cant leave anything in them anymore.

I've been preachin on the wallet thing. Agree totally.

a laptop? man, maybe if people stop leaving 1k of easily stealable and sellable stuff in their vehicles they will stop breaking into them.

Drug addicts will never stop breaking into $hit. Doesn't matter what's in a vehicle, they'll still break in. Gotta chase the fix man.

Figured you'd come in with the monday morning quarterback routine. Just reminding people, they're not all as perfect as you are.

If I add "Man that Sucks" to the top of my post, can I be treated like AA/AT?

Ruffy is right this time around......I left my wallet in my truck years ago at GC and they got it. Within 4 hours they got $1200 worth of purchases on my cards. I don't leave anything except my stinky clothes and have no worries and no more issues....agreed junkies will go for anything...but if you leave them nothing, they move on pretty quickly....

Hey guys,
Yammadog you got off easy, years ago when that was going on, I was parked at gold creek and they took 1 card out of my wallet left the cash in it and within 24 hours had cleared my savings, checking and a line of credit, 18,000 dollars, they took the max they could take at different casino's in Vegas, they just called down to there buddy's with the card # and made a fake card. luckily BECU covered us because it was stollen. and it was F-in Ukraine scum bags.

last night we where doing a night ride out of GC.. came back to the truck around 10:30 or so.. as we approached there was a small car that was near/at our rig, they took off when they heard us coming, as we where loading up 3 more cars full of teenagers/partiers came by.. Maybe they had no bad intentions, but it sure made me wonder..
It sounds like we are easy targets for these low life's..

I thought I was treating you better...Didn't I call you perfect?

I guess the poor schmuck that was stupid for leaving his catalaytic converter still attached to his Tundra while he was sledding feels the same way.

Maybe they had no bad intentions, but it sure made me wonder..

A few years ago at the Baker snopark we pulled into a mostly empty parking lot, maybe 6 or so other sledding rigs and one 4runner (no trailer, no snow activities type of gear in sight) with 2 dudes standing outside of it just kinda hangin'. We got unloaded, dressed and I watched them.. just stand there... hangin'. So before we left I walked over to them and asked if they minded that I take a picture of them and their license plate. They looked at me like I was whacked... but agreed to it. I told them that peeps vehicles get broken into at snoparks and them just hangin' around made me nervous. They laughed and said they understood... I'm the type to normally be nice and ask "whatcha doing" but I don't remember if I did or not. WHO knows what they were up to, might have just been out for a sunny day of buddies hanging out? I don't know... but in my mind, by me not ingnoring them possibly it stopped something from getting ripped off that day.. maybe? lol

I can start a sled security service and post "knuckle dragger" buddies of mine at the snow parks on the weekends. Pepper spray and cell phone........

just a though. LOL

The same guys got my buddies card years ago at GC. They were careful to make sure they locked the door when they left, didn't take the card that was on top....they went for a card that was burried so it would take longer to notice missing and more time to rack up $$. They had a blast in Vegas!
