Thieves at Chain's End

Guys make sure you lock up your trucks and trailers at chain's end because the thieves are out again. Today up in the upper parking lot I had my helmet stolen right off the bed rail of my truck. We got back to the parking lot and helped 3 guys load up a skidoo into the back of their truck. The truck looked to be about a 1999 gray dodge 1/2 ton extended cab 4wd with Wyoming plates. After we got done helping them we went into the trailer and took off our snow clothes came back out they were gone and so was my helmet. I think their sled was about a used and abused 93'-97' summit 583 or 670 blue hood w/ broken of windshield with silver graphics and duct tape covered seat. Lesson learned don't leave anything unattended or it may become someone else's. By the way the helmet was a new this year flat black arctic cat helmet w/scott goggles.

That sucks!!! Maybe they just mistakenly picked it up and this a.m. you will have your helmet and a "Ooops, my bad" note attached!!! LOL Kinda crap my Wife would say! Thieves suck

Did you report this to law enforcment?? maybe the Forest Service or Sheriff can find these low lifes.

Nope no note or helmet today. And yes it was reported to law enforcement right away, but no results.

We had a bunch of tools stolen out of the back of our truck up there 2 seasons ago. Had all of our tools and emergency gear in a black heavy duty plastic box in the bed of our truck and someone just jumped in and helped themselves. We too reported it but nothing ever came of it. I seriously wanted to set them up and hide where they couldn't see and wait for them to come do it again so I could beat the chit outta them with a tire iron but hubby said no LOL. Good luck getting your stuff back. Hopefully they get whats coming to them one day.

Chains end is at the gate on the Snowy Range coming from the Saratoge side.

lock yer chit up! put it in yer trailer or inside yer truck. I never leave ANYTHING out while I'm riding or never let stuff leave my site while I'm inside my trailer changing. That sucks, I hate thieves. The deepest depths of hell are reserved for thieves and liars (I think, I aint never been there but thats what I hear )
