Good times! If we only had sleds like that 40 years ago when I was about that size. Growing up we had an Arctic Cat Lynx II, Rupp American, and a Rupp Nitro that only Dad got to ride. Any carving like those kids were doing would drop you on the side...stuck.

Ya, I had a 1968 Arctic cat panther. I thought that was the bomb!!! 30 MPH on a good day!

Fire breathing monsters! Really...a good backfire through the carb, just inches away from our 70's nylon jackets kept it interesting. 340's and 440's were the norm, leaf springs on the skis (and a little shock to control ski slap on the fancy models), and boogy wheels keeping the track rolling. Shoot, we could buy replacement windshields by the 4'x8' sheet.
