She just can not understand why I am always on this forum. She gets mad when she always turns on the tv on and the weather channel is on or I get excited when it snows. And when my friend call we talk about sledding. Am I the only one with this addiction

Hello,

My name is Andrew, I am a SnoWest Forum / Sled addict.

I dream about the smell of two-strokes, and my sled singing a wonderful tune all day long. When Saturday finally rolls around, I love to play in the snow. When the weather man, says warm temps and says something about spring i start to hyperventilate. :)

make that 3 of us but my name is Hayden lol....its a bad and good thing snowest isnt blocked at school cause i never get any work done when i have a computer aroud cause im ALWAYS on here. i get a lot a crap for being on here all the time but who cares.

I have spent the past two winters dreaming of snow... Not inches that fall here in MN but feet.... Bottomless powder, wind blown cornice's and tree holes the size of dump truck boxes and untracked meadows with 3 ft of fluff. I dream of riding tight lines through trees and laughing as I highmark my buddies.
I have two young children so trips to the steep and deep are on hold for now so I spend endless hrs and dollars thinking of ways to make my sled climb higher, weigh less, sidehill easier, and look sweeter. For an example: I only have 50 miles on the sled this yr and have polished the tunnel 3 times.
When I'm not wrenchin at the shop I am here chattin with my buds who continually rib me about how epic their recent ride has been. I don't mind because the great pics and the costant reminder of how awesome the ridin is keeps me goin back to the shop and mentally preparing for my return to the greatest area in the world- Steep and Deep.
I thank everyone here who has help with new ideas for mods to the sled, fresh opinions on just about everything, and the fellas continuing to help the days count down until my return. We have a great family of fellow sled-addicts here and I am proud to be one.....

I am more of an enabler....I am married to an addict and find myself needing a snow fix at least once a week. But when you can play in snow like this who wouldnt become addicted.....

:DMy name is Pete and I too am a snowest/snowmobile addict.I live for the snow and fully admit that snow flows thru my veins.
Recently I suffered a setback and broke my foot and leg in 5 places:mad:,I am going thru withdrawals from snow. There is plenty in my yard but I can't get my fix on crutches, would it be wrong of me to put a size 13 Sorel over my cast to feed my addiction?;)
My wife caught me the other day in the garage firing up the sled to hear the sound and smells of the screaming Dragon:eek:.Luckily for me, she too shares my addiction and is my enabler, although she is not as addicted as I am.
I believe I have my addiction under control, someone please back me up and tell me I'm OK.
Thanks ,Pete
