Animal was the best! Still miss him like crazy! He'd be here cutting it up with the best of us! We will have a Mafia dinner soon, everyone invited as always, which was his way. Those who can make it, and didn't get to know Dave, will likely meet his fam...wife (Carolyn) and 3 beautiful daughters (Stacey, Janene and Michelle).

Kim - this reminds me that Xmas is just around the corner. Traditionally, many of us have generously donated to Animal's family around this time of year and I would like to do that again this year. Many of the "mafia" boys have shared dinner with Carolyn and the girls as well. If this is something that anyone would like to continue, let's get the ball rolling. If so, let me be the first then to commit $100 to the Animal Xmas fund.

Me and a buddy will be there saturday, taking off from kirkman hallow. That is if I get time today to swap my tires Other wise we will be riding late saturday and sunday.

Im hoping to be down there by 830-9 saturday morning. Its gonna be fun!

Now whos up for a motorbike ride saturday morning? Safety Guy and myself are planning on a grueling 60+ mile ride down in Hobble creek nation. Bring extra fuel... a lot of it!!!

I guess it's come full circle: SW dropped private threads.. Moved to Sledforum.. that didn't attract too many people so SledJunkie got started and we got a mafia private thread back.. that worked for about a year and lost our thread there..

I miss him tons, it pains my heart when I see his kids. I've never left them with a dry eye. Im not sure how heaven works I hope Dave likes what he sees, I hope he knows what his legacy is. My short list of friends is full of Mafias. These folks are not mere riding buddies, my boy thinks dub and Phatty are WAY cool. I dont reckon Id fill the building Dave did at his funeral but that has to be a damn good measuring stick of the man you are. Freak even stopped by in his work clothes Uncle Mike wore a 3 piece suit. Everyone on here with kids better go tell em how much you love them right now. i NEVER EVER was with Dave we didnt end up bragging on our kids. Sledding is a GREAT way to waste time but dont ever loose site of whats real important in your life...You may not get a chance to explain your intentions. Im grateful for the friends I have met and the good time had, and yet too.
