The 'Tip's' Playground 09/10

More Pic 28 Nov 09

To many rocks and not enough snow on the old jeep trail made me turn around. And stopped me way short of where I want to go today.

So I came back and started out the other way on the jeep trail and ran into this. :( Turned around again.

Gold Lake // Haskell Pk Area

I needed some work done on my new sled on Thu. so i took both sled and had a good little ride out of Church Mdw. Rd. to Haskell Pk. I did 50.4 miles and didn't see anyone else. Was able to do quit a bet of X-counrty even with the low snow. Just had to be real carefull.
Haskell Pk. from the hill to the West of Haskell.

From here I went down on the Northeast side into the big Clear Cut. Lots of rock and logs if you don't know when to go down.
Spitfire if your remember the hill that you, Anthony and I went over to from the big Clear Cut. We climb out of it and AO went back down and we went around and down. Will I made it up into the little bowl at the bottom of that hill. This is not a good Pic because the sun was right over the top of Haskell Pk here.

Saltydog you remember this place on the east side of Haskell where I hit the ice in 2007??? And I think this is where Terry hit the Ice last yr on the Memorial for Paul.
IMG_0170.jpg

From there I went over to above where Craig got stuck in the tree on the First Memorial Ride for Paul. AO went down over the bank to help him get turned around. All the good memorys!!! LOL

Yes there was no bottom and only 6 to 8 inches of old snow.
We did have one new Dragon that found a stump and and came in with a bad A arm. Even worse was the driver hit his knee ready hard. I'm hoping it will be in good shape to ride when we get good snow. :sun:

Looks great John, should set up for a good base in a few days. And more to come. :)
I am going to wait a little longer. Maybe next week:p
