Just one. It was warm, 30 deg out and we were blasting down the Bill Nichols trail. Shortly before that we did a blast across lake Gogbic. So I took it easy on it after that because the replacement I bought up there cost me $225.

I'm not in love with this sled. Didn't do well out west and was worse on the trail. Not sure what I'm going to do.

I assume you are complaining about the high country? my complaint was the skis, put powder pros on and that was a good start, it took me 500 miles to get used to the handling of it though, I know I am a slow learner, still playing with air rates in those fox shocks, currently running 90 lbs. that track does suck for trail riding! have not played with clutches, still stay with cat since nobody can touch zeke at trade in time! I know I just set myself up for some comments:face-icon-small-win

can you turn the driven clutch with belt out so you can know if it turns easy or hard. If its hard to turn that mean the chain or track is over tight.

man I wish it was one of those problems but these new proclimbs all run hot and eat belts. seems to be a problem cat still has not figured out:face-icon-small-con

ski doo dealer is taking a new freeride out with us in 2 weeks, time to try out hahns peak roadhouse, new area for us to ride:face-icon-small-hap

do you know what does that mean? GET a POLARIS. problem solved. lol
yea I hear stories of issue on proclimb clutch.

a Honda crf 230 would easily fit your price range but will it have enough power&suspension for you? these bikes are bulletproof but lack the thrill of say a crf250x, if you can find one of these not been through the ringer would be your best bet. I have plenty of connections and see what I can find. Yamaha wr's would be good also,

Thats what ive been looking for... would love an xr250 or xr400.... actually looking at an xr200 right at a grand.... which under $2000 is where I want to be at....

Found a crf250r on cl tonight thst needs motor work.... priced right... but dont want a hi perf bike... I mean I do.. but looking for something less histrung so the gf can get back on a bike

I know a guy who might part with a sweet CR 500. But that may be too much power for the faint of heart.:face-icon-small-win

well the xf exploded with 1000 miles sunday, needs everything, then buddys rmk had a stuck throttle when we started it in trailer, nice dent in wall, then the son's sled wet nuts in garage and went through wifes new cabinets, and I think I am going to steamboat next week. luck must change!

Noticed if you snow check a new Doo this spring they give you 4 years bumper to bumper warranty. That's impressive. Of course I've put nothing on my sled the last two years so I don't need a new one. If you were in the market I think that would be tempting though.

That's great, my brother is the opposite, I can never get him to go anywhere else! Hit a few stumps??

yes a few! Lucky, no damage but my friend hit a big rock, damaged the upper, bottom "A" arms, shock, and steering rod. Rode back to the hotel for 40 miles. We had to come home A DAY early.
