didn't buy anything at the sale this morning. dad wanted to see what the 2206 case ih corn header brings. I told him to bid but didn't.. $15,500 on corn header is a steal.

Had thanksgiving at Grandmas today or I'd of went to sale.

How did everything else sell? Wasn't in the market for anything, just knew Jeff and was a great guy.

Down to 90 acres of corn to go..............But it is making 220 bu and the elevator is only open 4 hours a day.

everything sells pretty good. that Kinze 2600 12 rows planter sold for 32,000! silage tractor sold for 30,000 plus I forget.

I saw a airplane at his farm.. did he fly it from the farm?

Jeff flew. I thought he was teaching his son to fly once he knew he was sick. I knew Jeff well when I was working at Coop. Once I quit to farm on my own, I kinda lost touch with him.


He was a heck of a nice guy. Gone to soon.

Here is the kind of mess FSC leaves behind gassing in frozen ground. By the ammount of snow melt I'd say it didn't seal for crap.

cold snap hasn't helped trap lines... big fat 0 for the weekend.. hopefully the bit of warmth today, and rest of the week will pick things up... finally got out and made a few coyote sets, hopefully something will pay off..... would like to see another 10-20 coons caught yet... but will shall see

You gotta look back? I knew it was bad when I was getting propane for the "shop" they said they were still running. In the snow.........

DONE with harvest.......now it's time to empty those bins I put corn in....that I shouldn't of!!!


10000 bu in 2 bins that have no power. And haven't had grain in them for 20 years.
