sounds like a good idea, keep us updated as you go, I stil know some who will not invest in avy gear as their excuse is I only ride west once a year
It's like we use to say on the fire dept. its better to have and not need, then to need and not have.
What would you feel like if your buddy got in trouble and you did not have anything to at least try to do something?

Every person that wants to go west should go to one of Mikes Avy Class also. That is what opened my eyes more then anything.
I know it costs a lot when you start buy it, but I just add it to the cost of riding in the mountains.
I hope I never need any of the stuff, but if things do happen I will at least have a chance to try and save a dad, mom, friend or a total stranger.
