not many pond has carp and they dont want that. they can eat the fish eggs. my cousin has many carp in his pond few years ago, then died and float, collected them and dump them on his feild as fertilizer. now its gone. he wanted them all out and re population bluegill, bass, and crappie. bluegill are biting like crazy every I go there and fish! I can get 5 bluegill in like 2 minutes lol.
 
raccoon river has ton of carp. two years ago, I was fishing for walleye and I have alway got carp all the time but they werent biting. it got hooked up on fish skin, one time it got carp's eye.. lol 4 of us caught about 20 carps in one day and left them on ground.
 
no time to fishing for me.. been so busy. 18 loads to blair! its been more than a week.. because of rain! last one for today.
 
any planters running? none here yet, big cool down for middle of next week, below freezing at night, will put some in ground and see what happens.
