you will want the high country, nice track on it, hope the skis are changed ones on mine were junk, need powder pros on them

It has the "mountain skis" on it. Don't know if that is good or bad.

Hows the gearing on them? I don't want to be disapointed in the speed and performance. Looking for more of a ditch banger that I can run in the mountains. Got along fine with my current 141 with a 1.5" this year but snow was set up. I know I need more track but I'm not Chris Burant either. Heck I only climbed widow maker to the last part that is straight up. Wasn't taking my sled home in pieces!!!!!!

the mountain ski will give you more floatation, that is good as mine wanted to plow through snow and i have 2 bent a arms to their credit. you will be fine with the new skis. handling wise mine can rail down the trail no ski lift in corners, you will like the trail manners and it will bang a ditch with the best of them. take a bolt out of the stabilizer and it will handle like a mountain sled. now you will get ski lift and be able to sidehill. so you do get the best of both worlds, 90% of the time my 141x 2.25 track is enough out west and have had no overheating issues back here in marginal snow. power is plenty as my friends 08 f800 does not stand a chance against mine in a drag race. best power i have had and i had a 03 f700 firecat that was a rocket. top speed? do not know but it will run 70 out in the snowies, never topped it out back here but i think in the 90's somewhere. out of the 10 sleds i have had this one is tops, by the way the adjustable handlebar is a must. you will love this sled back here and out west. might have to let coyoteman lead in the real deep though but it will follow:face-icon-small-hap

Good info! Thanks! We have a river we ride so I need studs.....so the wife may get a real nice sled!

Just wish they made a green one and I'd jump all over it!

I have the adjustable bar on my crossfire now. So that was a must. They are making the XF in the procross and the pro climb. The high country is the only pro climb. So it had the mountain seat and vertical adjustable bars.

i was not too keen on my all black when i ordered it, but it has grown on me. you can dress them up, i put a orange bumper on mine, only color dave had still has not grown on me, might have to paint it black or green? going to put mine to the test in rabbit ears next week:cheer2:
