We used to have a Cushman Trackster. They were fricken TOUGH and could go over most anything. My grandpa used to take me out and we'd run that thing on manure piles for hours. (we had cattle and deer/elk/buffalo for over 20 years).

It was a blast to ride in. I remember it broke down a lot and parts were tough to get. I see a lot of websites where vintage people rebuild them and they are finding a rebirth these days.
We could cross creeks, sloughs and go up the side of road banks like they were nothing.

Ours was identical to this one below...we also had a soft cab for it too, with a heater.

I also remember that my dad and grandpa had a Coot. Driveline went out coming down a mtn and everyone bailed before it plowed into a Ponderosa. It didn't survive at all.

The Coot is the one with the wheels...but ours was just an open chassis. No roof or top panels at all.

The winch that is on my old 89 Trail Boss 250 came off the Cushman when we sold it.
