I wish I could remember any of your names now but if you read this you know who you are, big thanks to you!
The story:
Me and a buddy of mine took our teenage sons for a ride yesterday. Rode out of the 1000 RD Rimrock Snopark and up to the 1050 to the back side of BLue Lake. I was leading and bustin trail through the upper part of 1050 when I got to the switchback at the head of the shortcut (if you ride there you know what I'm talking about) and stop to wait, next sled is with my group and the 3rd is some guy on a new Pro. He stops to tell me that one of "ours" is off the road and upside down. I comment "is it a red edge" aka my kid, he says yes it is. So back down we go. Not to far back we find a large group of guys already on top of the situation, one of the other group has his Turbo Yami backed up to the side of the road getting ready to hook up to my kids sled. Another one of his group is down in the hole helping hook up the Snowbungee. They pulled, flipped it, hooked back up and had it on the trail in like 5 minutes! I guarantee it would have been an hours work for us! My son was standing there, a bit shook up but ok, since he tried to ride it out and ended up under the sled against the trees but was able to crawl out, luckily before everyone passed.
And to continue, they then worked with us over the next hour and half to knock out the trail to get to Blue Slide taking turns with us making many trips up and down the jeep trail through the trees.
The bottom line is Karma can be a good thing. My friend and I just had a conversation the other day about how we never leave anyone in trouble no matter what. We all need to look out after each other up there, friends and strangers alike.
Thanks again guys!!
Ken
