Would Just like to say thanks to BCA for the great customer service I recieved. My Tracker beacon on/off switch had broke and when I called BCA I told them that I had bought it from Snowbigdeal almost 2 years ago and that my switch had broke, Kyle in the warranty department said box it up and send it to them and they would check it out. Well 1 week later I recieved a brand new one free of charge. Its nice to see a company take care of there customers with fast friendly service. I totally expected to get told I had to buy a new one since it seems like companies these days do not stand behind there product. Thanks again BCA!

Last winter I also had a problem with my Tracker 1 and was helped out by Kyle. Two of the back cover screws that hold the two main halves together had the screw bosses break off. I sent in my beacon and very quickly had a package come back. I opened it thinking it would have a new back cover - instead it was a brand new beacon! I was really surprised that they replaced the beacon - but happy nonetheless. I bought 2 Tracker 2's soon afterward and am keeping the Tracker 1 for a spare.

I'm glad they honored their warranty. BCA Trackers are warrantied for 5 years, so you weren't even halfway through it. However, it sucks that it broke in the first place. This goes to show that you need to inspect/test your beacon every time you use it. You don't want to find out your beacon has an issue when it is too late.

I bought mine nearly 5 years ago and I pulled it out of the bag yesterday to use it on a ride and the on/off switch was busted off. I got an RA number today and will mail it off tomorrow...hope they can help me out, according to their charts it is still under warranty.

Five years is a fairly standard warranty. Most Ortovox and Barryvox units are 5 years and Pieps is 2 years.
