Temp light question

I just changed my 1 handlebar warmer (it packed it in) and that went fine. But I got it all back together and turned the key on and started it and my temp light stays on, I ran the sled for only a few seconds (the top red light) while I had everything appart, I opened my rad cap to check the level, it was fine and I also had to unplug the acc plug it was all wrapped up with the wires so I re routed it, but I plugged it back in. Any ideas? does the system need to repressurise or something? 08 Apex MTX

On the Apex is it not the yellow light that comes on when cold? Am I wrong in this? I have never really paid attention as to what light is on.

I think the red light stays on until it is warmed up. I have been known to be wrong once or twice though.LOL I would say let it run and watch for any codes. If something is wrong, the sled should flash a code or shut down automatically. If you checked all the fluid levels and all is well, let it warm up and I bet it shuts off.

Nytro, Apex and Phazer sleds always have the red temp light come on until the coolant reaches 20 degrees and then goes off. That is normal. Shad
