Teanaway Riders.....

I see they will take 3 pax for $160. That's a screamin deal. Now if the pilot will take you to the spot and get you down for some worthy pictures???

that is where You come in......

we talk..uuhhm.... persuade..uuhhm ...convince said pilot to let YOU take the controls... and we get it done....lol

I was just looking for ideas to help... I have no idea on if the plane stuff will work. just trying to help.

my acquaintance with the h500 will not help with this either as his helo is in lake stevens.

wish we could all work together to help with this.

Chris

Snoboy could you rent a plane from them like they have available at snohomish? I would be more than happy to chip in a c note or two

Any outfit that rents planes will require a checkride with a flight instructor before they cut an airplane loose no matter how many flight hours one has (not like renting a car). Renton to crime scene is apx. 61 nm and Arlington (Snohomish) to crime scene is 71 nm so not much farther. Whats the hourly rate of your acquaintance' helocopter? That's the real ticket for crime scene photos. Low and slow. Although I wouldn't rule out the idea completely but like I've said I need to know exactly where these sledders are crossing into the wilderness areas before I got involved.

that dude on the left total ruins a good thread....he's a great reason for leaving the animals alone in the wilderness....that missing link would still be out there if he didn't follow tracks to the human side....j/k....but seriously, heard his wife has a custom made head bag for "couch" time....:face-icon-small-hap

The game camera may be the way to go this plane stuff may be too complicated. The chopper time is way to expensive.

The game camera may be the way to go.

Going to check into some especially like the ones Eric said about being able to take pictures every day.

Keep the ideas coming!

Thanks for the interest, everyone. A flight over the area sounds like a great idea. As does a game camera on a daily timer.

But, I want to refresh the original intent of the thread. The most important thing is to get a series of photos of these areas from different days and different people; to demonstrate that this is not the widespread problem. The game camera could work great, but its equally importatnt to get input from a variety of people who ride these areas.

Just got an email from one of them. Thanks!

I noticed you said one individual continues to send the same photos. Is this particular Eco Rat the guy that heads up ALPS Alpine Lakes Protection Society?

I don't think so. This guy doesn't seem to be interested in protecting anything. He just wants a little slice of public land for his own personal use.

Sounds like the appropriate thing to do.

Perhaps the game camera will catch this Mr Mullins snowmobiling in the area herself.
