I am having a hard time accumulating information about the Arctic cat 440's / 600's specifically track / tunnel width and gas tank size.

I have these specific questions..
What is the track width for the models in the last 5-6 years? I thought there were some that were 13.5" wide models, but all I have been able to find are 15" tracks.

What is the tunnel width for the models in the last 5-6 years? Not as important as the above question...

What is the gas tank size for the sno-pros for the last 5-6 years?

One last one, are / where any of them fuel injected? I don't think they were, but I am not sure.

Thanks for any help!!

no there not fuel injected unless u put an firecat motor in it but then u have to get a 10 gallon tank for it and there one guy n the u.s i think that makes them because the 5 gallon tank if you put the fuel pump in it it says it runs out of gas when its half full so you need the 10 gallon and any firecat track should fit on the snopros

Thanks for the info. I am actually contemplating putting one of the tanks on my nytro.. I like the fact that the gas tanks are really narrow, I really like that feel. Most tanks make it seem like you are riding a horse!

Thanks for the info and help!

Anyone got any pictures of the different tanks?

2002-2007 had 13.5'' wide tracks from 1.375 to 1.7'' lug heights. either 2.52 or 3.0 pitch

08-up have 15'' wide 128'' long tracks with either 1.25 or 1.7'' lugs 2.52 pitch

02-07 have 5 gallon tanks 08-up come stock with 7 gallon tanks but optional 12 gallon is available from cat

none are fuel injected stock

Thanks for all the info. Looks like the best option for me is the 02-07 creation composites trailtank is what I will try and use.

Thanks for all the help guys! I appreciate it!

I had an 02 but for some reason I had 2 of the tanks pick ups rot off a and drain the tank in my garage. The tank drains in the lower right hand corner of the tank and would just decompose and leave a hole. 03 and up, no probs.

im running a 05 snopro with a 9.7 fast eddies tank, there is only about 2" of foam on top of the tank so its a prison beating on the trail and because its tall i feel that when sidehilling with both feet on one side, my knee farther back that is against the seat is indanger of damage. hard to explain why that is but im just saying im looking at getting away from this setup. i rode a nytro with a mountain mod seat for 5 min and fell in love.

You guys have any pics? Would be interesting to see exactly what you are talking about. Thanks for the heads up.

02 and 03 had big tanks on them.. the 04 and up had the smaller tank. the chassis are also different on the 04 and up even though they look the same as the 02-03.

go to www.track2trail.net and get a hold of travis.. he is a hell of nice guy and builds AC race sleds into reliable sleds for the average person. he will even custom bulid one for you. He can get big tanks, long track kits ect. he will be more than happy to help you out. his prices for a custom sled are also very good for what you get.
