We ride Taylor's Fork/Carrot Basin several times a year and really enjoy riding there as I am sure many on this 4M do. Once you get back into Carrot Basin there is so much riding for everyone. We went three weeks ago and had a great time. There were quite a few signs to "Stay on the Trail" during the first few miles and at the parking lot. People however cannot seem to stay on the trail through this part. They only get about 30 feet off the trail on either side. We went last weekend and they have added more signs and plenty of orange sticks. Many have ran over the orange sticks and continue to ride off the trail the first few miles. It is not great riding there, so WHY CAN'T YOU FOLLOW THE SIGNS AND RESPECT PRIVATE PROPERTY?????
If this behavior continues, the owners may very well close their land to snowmobiles and we will loose access to Carrot Basin and other incredible riding there.
I want to keep riding there, so please STAY ON THE TRAIL and RESPECT PRIVATE PROPERTY.
