All these massive bills that passed are all corrupt.
You can't handle that much money that fast without massive fraud.

oh i totally agree...TARP never should have been birthed in the first place... gov. can not do anything with out it being corrupted!:mad: man im pissed!

ollie what do you think is going to happen with cap and trade? i think they brought gore in to push the agenda... you watch there is going to be some secretive vote on this... it will destroy the rest of the economy instantly!

I would say not instantly.
What will happen IF they can do it is it won't hit for 6 - 8 months.
The local utilities will need to apply for rate increases.
When the utility bills double or in some cases (such as california) triple, then people will realize the problem.
Also, cap and trade could be applied to cars by the local cities and states to offset their inability to cut social programs. That will wake everyone up.

Here's the thing with cap and trade.
It's not a sure thing to pass. A lot of dems won't vote for it.
This thing has been tried in 4 different forms in the EU. It failed miserably and was repealed every time.
Also, the dems ejected the republican rebutal to Al Gore, so the republicans demanded and got Gingrich invited. Now a year plus ago Newt stood side by side with Palosi and said we needed to do something about man made global warming. So the dems thought they had it in the bag.

Imagine their surprise when Newt tore Al Gore a new azzhole. Totally blew him out of the water. The Dems forgot, Newt is thinking of running for president in 2012. Time for Newt to become a conservative again.

I'm not very bright and I have emails that I kept to my Lefty senators before they voted on these that both the auto bailouts and TARP (and everything else they spend my money on) would be throwing my money into a black hole never to be seen again and that the government doesn't keep track of where the money goes. Why did I know that and they didn't? Unless maybe they're recipients of the black hole funds?

good stuff...i hope your right!
