I know it would run in lower elevations. With the boost it kit you could have it dialed in within a couple minutes. As far as how much boost im unsure. Id think on 110 you would be good to like18#. 50/50 to 14#. And on pump 10. This is just my guess but i could find out. Maybe someone can chime in that knows for sure.

I think Phil is right. On a NON head shimmed Apex, anything over 10 is not healthy on pump gas(even at 10lbs it will take the life out of the motor).......unless the motor is beefed up a tad, and Phils is. Rods, pistons, etc.

High elevation is up to 14 on pump,15-17 on 50/50 and 18+ on 110
Sea level is 0-10 pump, 11-14 on 50/50,14- 18 on 110
