Tanks of fuel to oil?

Just got my sled only two rides on it, guessing a bit but so far about a tank and a half of fuel to 1/2 tank of oil. Wondering how many tanks of fuel I should expect to get to a tank of oil. Also how much further can you go once you hit the add mark on the oil tank, 1/4, 1/2 - 1 tank of fuel?

You can get away with adding oil after 5 rides easily I would think, I usually top mine off after a ride or two though. I'm pretty sure you haven't gone through half your oil tank in two rides also. They don't use much oil.

We've all been joking about when these will blow up since they don't seem to use any oil! Also rode my arms off in super light and pretty deep pow pow in Afton Wy Sunday and used 8 gallons of fuel! Super super happy with this buggy!

I put 3 rides on mine the other day before the light would start to flicker these things use very little oil.

I don't mean to hijack but what is everyone running for oil too? I know some people and poo prefer VES Gold while others say the Blue semi synthetic is better? Im not to knowledgeable of aftermarket oils to use other than I think carl's suggests redline?

I can't believe how little oil these sleds use, like mentioned above you can ride 3-4 tanks of gas in deep snow and only have to fill the oil up once and it's not even pass the 1/2 way mark.

RMKrazie I'm running Redline oil

I don't really keep track of silly stuff like this, but I can tell you with 800 and something miles on my sled, I just cracked my 4th gallon of oil.

Redline for me. Cleaned the valves at about 600 miles and they looked normal. 1100 miles now and probably should check the valves after another couple rides.
Also used redline in my 09 assault from 400 miles on. Sold it with 2700 miles and it was still running strong.
