Well we went up to Tampico today for another ride... could not have been better weather - Sunny and 55*. We put on 50 miles starting from Tree-Phones and made it pretty much anywhere that had snow, including blue lake and blue slide. Blue Lake is turning into a lake again and Blue Slide is pretty much done as much as I hate to say it, as I love that area... the access into it is just getting really tight - LOTS of rocks to navigate around at the top access point.
The cornices at the Super Bowl are breaking off like crazy, and in BIIIIIIG chunks too, a couple that I would say are each as big as a full size truck
There are also lots of cracks 10-20 ft back from the face of the cornices... if they were to break off that far back I would not want to be anywhere near them when it happened.
Other than that, the super bowl is still probably 85% rideable, pretty surprising for this time of year
All in all it was another great late season ride... I am thinking a few more rides are in order as there's still about 8 ft on top
