I've never been able to find this place on google maps? Anyone able to take a still shot and post it? What elevation is it at?

Pretty good first ride, still thin, but better than I expected honestly! The snow is settling and setting up a little bit

If a picture is worth a thousand words, will posting a video get me a free beer from someone? Lol.....:face-icon-small-ton:face-icon-small-hap:face-icon-small-coo

So where is this place on google maps?

If you go to Google maps and enter Darland Mountain, that's the top just under 7000'. Then search Ahtanum Meadows campground and that's the bottom. Just Southwest of the campground pinpoint is the snow park at the bottom. Follow the middle fork road west and you will see Tree Phones campground, that's our mid mountain snow park. A little farther west and there is Eagles Nest ( almost to the top), that's where these guys unloaded.
I'm crossing my fingers that by next weekend we might be able to ride from Tree Phones which has plenty of room to park and move around.

Geeze, that's great for you folks over in the Yakima area. 7000' ft is some serious elevation! No wonder you guys always have some of the earliest season riding. I may have to come over soon and get a rip in with the locals!

Rimrock up top and u can see Darland mtn at the bottom. Darland is the highest peak in Tampico.

Yes, not only elevation, but for some reason, this area typically gets a little more snow than other nearby areas. My invitation to you has stood for a couple of years now, so come on over and ride with us. Oh and BTW, Summ8RMK and I have rode Tampico every month of the year (just not the same year)
