U can ride with me and my buddies. We will meet at freddys at 6:45.
Pm me for more info.

Me and kid #3 (Beau) put on 50 miles Thursday; rode Jackass and N Fork. Deep, deep, deep! Got stuck more times thursday than my entire season last year. The snow park has at least 3+" since then, snowing moderately here this evening; another 3-4" since this afternoon. Probably the deepest (no real base) above 5K elevation that I have seen the last couple of years. We really haven't had the time to firm up a base. Real drifty to on the open hillsides, we couldn't break over into nasty creek flats - normally pretty easy. A couple of our favorite spots that I used to take my kids to all season long are already drifted in worse than I have ever seen - and its not even christmas yet.

On the Grooming situation - The groomer is still not up here:face-icon-small-fro. I will not forward any information about the start date due to the fact that every date I have been given has been put off (ie un-factual) since the beginning of this week (actually a yearly occurance). I will contact State Parks again on Monday (if anyone is there) to make sure that they are aware of the situation. I encourage people to use the link above to provide input to state parks about the current grooming situation.

As far as road condtions; on Thursday, N Fork was decent up to snow cabin; Jackass was not to bad until you near the top of the flats. Decent snow depth even down low.

Have a great weekend and be safe - tough going above 5k elevation and not sure of the avalanche hazards.

Went up today, there was 8" of fresh in the snow park when we arrived and it was a stuck fest all day long, DEEEEEP!!! Good to see we are starting to get something of a base started. Riding with mtnmax97 was great, I hope we didn't wear you guys out too bad (did I mention it was deep!) Look forward to riding with you guys again sometime:beer;

Hopefully the groomer gets going soon, it was rough on the middle fork, be aware. Also be aware that Ahtanum Road was a COMPLETE sheet of BLACK ICE on the way down, I think I did 25-30 MPH and was sliding most of the way till we got into Wiley City and the road started to dry out.

I haven't looked at my pics yet, but I'm sure I have a few good stucks on there, lol

It really is amazing that we have had three weekends in a row of incredibly deep snow. I didn't get a picture of the outhouse in Clover Flats, but it is getting close to disappearing and it's not even Christmas yet. If this is a "Normal Year", I'll take normal.
It was nice meeting and riding with Mtnmax97 and Jacob. Really enjoyed your company and it was really cool for you to let us take a joyride on the new XM (especially after you saw what I did to the two sleds I was riding, lol). I also want to say Thank You to 94fordguy for letting me use his pride and joy 09 RMK 700 after I toasted my Ti a-arm just 5 miles up the road. Probably the hardest hit I have taken while riding a sled. Threw my over the over the bars, 360 style, landing on my a$$ in the middle of the trail. Needless to say, I'm a little sore this morning. Another great day.

Even XM's get stuck. (They just dig a deeper trench) [Mtnmax97]

However, they can help get an M8 unstuck. [Summ8rmk]

You know me give me a "rental" sled and "Ride it like you stole it" JK I actually tried to take it easy on the pretty little girl, but some times my right thumb would get in my way.

Yeah me & a few buddies tried to make it to Blue Slide cabin from the Rimrock side, & being the first ones to try it with no tracks we only made it to last shoot in the trees before the hillclimb to drop onto Blue Lake, so we never made it, but we will give her hell again this week for sure, I should have the turbo done by then so we will either get stuck even worse or we will blow out!!! It's deep for sure, it's an epic start to a year they said was going to be moderate snow!!!

Having some good fun with good friends!

HAHAHA, well it made it back to the truck just fine and the only casualty was a missing plastic push dart for the left windshield wing... all things considered, that's not bad considering that last time I rode it, I sank it:eek::face-icon-small-win:face-icon-small-hap:beer; Above all, I'm just glad I happened to have it with me so you didn't have to miss an epic day on the hill!

And now for a few vids of Yesterday's sweet snow!

I'll start with some of my 900:D

A big thanks once again to mtnmax97 for letting me demo the XM... it is a sweet sled!:beer;

A quick whip around to see Snodawg buried with my 700, LOL

And lastly some seat time on the little 700... trying not to rip any paddles off the track in the process, lol:nono:

Dirty Words......I was working and can't make it up til this weekend.

How can you afford 8 trips up and boost???? Don't you ever work. LOL HA HA:face-icon-small-ton
