Taking over a snow-check

I've got a buddy that can't go through with his purchase of a 12' RMK 155 due to finances. We had negotiated a great deal at $10k with 4 year warranty but he won't get his deposit back.

So, can someone else pay for his snowcheck so he can get his $500 back? What are the requirements?

i think it is all about the dealer i did the same thing and i sent my dopsite to the dealer and the dealer refunded the guy back they said it is no problem to switch the snowcheck over but for warrenty when i pick up the sled they have to do a change of ownership on the warrenty no big deal they said
