Tach not working

I have 04 sum 800 and my tach stopped working on the last ride.Went through the elec. system and can not find and breaks in the wire everything else on the gauge works.lights speed reverse light,just not the tach any ideas

Most likely a faulty relay. Common problem on Rev's. $70 for a dealer fix or you can buy the relay at NAPA or other car parts store for approx. $10-15. Had this problem on my 05 Renegade.

Thanks you were right i went and pulled the relay and plugged it back in and the tach came on for a few seconds i am going to the auto parts store to buy one do you know the part number

i am having the same problem on my sled. i went and bought part #AR143 at napa and it is a totally different thing than the relay... it is some square thing with a bunch of prongs sticking out of it... Any help would be appreciated.
